Maybe

It was a bright Tuesday by the beach

I had seen them, newlyweds, maybe

Lovers definitely

Arms locked, frequent lips collision

Endless smiles

Happiness that could be seen, the joy that could be felt

I watched how he drew a love symbol with the beach sand for her

I also watched as beach waves erased the symbol

I had seen people contented with the simple things of life

People whose words were real

Whose actions didn’t need other interpretation

But I had seen them,

The righteous that were killed by the wicked

Often without consequence.

This 42-degree temperature burns the body

But yesterday it was cold

Maybe on this ground,

There had been happy times

Maybe those times will come again

About Me

My life’s journey is that of many parts, every day I try to bring all the parts to an agreement, but I am yet to succeed at that, or maybe I shouldn’t even be trying to do it, I really don’t know yet- but while at it, I try to find how each part makes me better, and how each part can make the society better
